Gretta’s Crushworthy Secrets

Crushworthy Makeup  and Hair Secrets: I am the resident Stylista for Yes To Carrots haircare because the products are superior, made with natural ingredients and are available to the masses at a great price point. I make no secret of the fact that I’m literally addicted to the YesToCarrots Leave in Conditioner. It has completely transformed my hair and keeps my locks in tip top shape. I even run it through dry hair before hitting the pool or working out.

Crushworthy Tips and Tricks: I’m really into SoulCycle for my fitness routine but I mix it up with yoga, pilates and chasing after my son.

I am a longtime user of June Jacobs enzyme masks – both the Papaya and the Pumpkin. I use them on a weekly rotation to keep my skin exfoliated and radiant…every girl needs these jars in their bathroom cabinet. (We love them too and our crushworthymom, Rochelle!!)

Crushworthy Uniform:

1. My go to tote, especially for New York Fashion Week, is this one by Balenciaga in python. It’s roomy and holds all my essentials and let’s face it, it’s pretty gorgeous, right?

2. My gold disc “K” necklace that Ricky gave to me for Mother’s Day. I love having a beautiful reminder of my little family wherever I go!

3. Helmut Lang leggings cannot be beat.

4. I am obsessed with Veronica Beard blazers. Their system of interchangeable collars and cuffs translates into multiple high style options!

5. I’ve got to pick an LBD. It’s a classic must have for a reason. Having a no fail pick for big events is key for stress free style. Switch up the shoes and jewels every time for maximum versatility.

Crushworthy Restaurant or Date Night: OMG…There are so many great restaurants in NYC and I’m lucky to be friends with so many great chefs and cooks. But I’d have to say for date night, I love a quiet and romantic night in with my own personal chef – my man Ricky.

Crushworthy Guilty Pleasure: Shoes…definitely shoes. I am quite the collector and I know I have a lot but I can’t help myself from adding each season!

Crushworthy Trip: Anywhere in Europe! I want Kai to be a citizen of the world and I always love exploring different cities and cultures. Sampling the local cuisines and observing the style of those chic Europeans is my favorite way to spend a vacation.

Crushworthy Kid Product: I am so in love with the Bensimon sneakers for Boys on Gilt.com – they are uber cool! The Tennis Mid Top shoes are perfect for my awesome little dude.

Crushworthy Home:

The Hudson River waterfront is our front yard in Jersey City…We refer to it as “La Petite Chambre”. It is our favorite place during the day to play & enjoy the boats with Kai or at night after I put him to sleep dine alfresco in the warm months. In the winter it is a beautiful snowy view with the Statue of Liberty clearly in the distance while we sit at our dinner table staying warm and cozy…

I love it because it is romantic and instantly makes me feel relaxed after returning home from a busy day of work in NYC.

And what makes someone Crushworthy to you?  Great personal style, confidence and a big smile are instant ways for anyone to be Crushworthy!
